They're still on the bubble. Being a 12-seed means you are literally one of the last at-large teams in the field. Would be a Gonzaga loss in the WCC tournament, or Murray State loss in the OVC tournament from being right back out of the field. Definitely not a comfortable spot.
Looks like the glass-half-empty fans are hanging tough though . . . GREAT win by Florida to go OVER .500 in SEC play!
Who said I was disappointed? I just found it funny that people were surprised it was down to a 3 point game. At this point nobody should have been surprised at the bad offensive stretches of basketball.
That’s a trick question. Name another team that has as many tough stretches of basketball with as much talent as Florida has had the last several years.
SEC win. Georgia sucks. I was on the road and had to stream Mick and Lee, but good win for the good guys. Now lets go beat Captain Banner Vacater and put ourselves in a hood spot.
How many tough stretches of basketball has Florida had and how much talent did Florida have over the last several years?
BTW, considering that Florida has been a winning program that goes to the NCAA tournament and usually wins at least 1 game over the past several years, I'd venture to say that Florida is nowhere near being at the top of the list of most tough offensive stretches. Talent? That is subjective, but we haven't had a lot of high draft picks. I'm not going to disrespect our guys, but I don't think the teams were stacked with elite scorers.
Look at Fla recruiting classes don't think we have loaded up on talent. Then lost a few to transfers. Good class this year and next. Have done better than any team from SEC in the dance last 4 years.
