Utah, Georgia, LSU, and A$M of course. Doesn’t mean we lose em all though. If we don’t suck, the others should be fairly easy games.
lol thought I responded. My bad. I think he meant that to say we have to lock down that 4.5 hour DRIVE radius from Gainesville. Dont want to say he’s admitting messing with SoFL is dead but acknowledging Cristobal’s presence down there wont make things easy for us. We’ve all been saying it though; we gotta go back to handling the Tampa to south Georgia area
Utah LSU (Please Prove Me Wrong) Georgia at Texas A&M I'd say Utah, UGA, and aTm are lock losses. It wouldn't be a shocker to me to see a loss or two from Kentucky, at Tennessee, Missouri, or at FSU. Everybody is going to want to punch UF in the mouth while they can. It's so far off that 8-4 seems about right, win more than we lose. However, nothing from 7-5 to 9-3 would be a surprise to me. I'd be surprised with 6-6 or 10-2.
There is no scenario in which I can see fsu beating UF. You mention that teams will want to punch UF in the mouth while they can….I can’t see UF being more down than they were for the FSU game last year. Starting qb throws 3 picks and gets benched (should he have played at all and is AR better is a whole other topic), we have an interim head coach in Greg “puts the special in special teams” Knox, we have an interim DC, and we have two off field analysts now helping on field with linebackers and o linemen since we have no o line coach and the LB coach is now acting as DC. While recruiting rankings can also be debated, UF still ended up with a better class and will again be higher in team talent composite next year. If fsu couldn’t beat our dumpster fire last year, I don’t see how they beat us this year.
I agree - last season was the opportunity to punch UF in the mouth. We will be a tougher out this season
I hope you guys are right. Let me put it this way, it would not surprise me if UF went 2-2 against Kentucky, at Tennessee, Missouri, and at FSU. It would not surprise me to see UF win against LSU either, but we have not done well lately against them. Utah? They just won the PAC 12 and gave Ohio State a good game in the Rose Bowl. I will be surprised if UF wins Napier's opener.
I am starting to see a shift in recruits choosing schools for money over relationships, so who knows how we can end up on a short turn around. Are we willing to open up the pocket books for players who may or may not be a bust? I still remember getting the number one recruit over all and him being pretty much a bust. Nothing is guaranteed and these Boosters/ other feeders are putting a lot of money on something unseen. I like the process and the meticulous eye for detail that CBN is bringing and if he can streamline this process and talent finding, I'll trust his judgement over going for the highest bidder to some of these kids. I'm predicting we end up in the 6-10 range in our bump class, but this staff has a lot of work to do as most of these class of 23 Florida kids have already visited or are scheduled to visit our rivals. We are playing from behind, I just hope we can overcome that. As always, whoever wants to be a Gator, that is who we should embrace and root for! Go Gators!!
Spurrier only lost 1. Galen Hall was 3-2. Meyer was 3-3. I believe everyone else is under .500 since Ray Graves.
