Interesting that 3 SEC teams we've beaten in the last couple of weeks are all ranked ahead of us. Including one that we blew right out of the building.
I think it’s a product of not winning in WBB. Unlike every other sport at UF where we are good at everything, we are not a blue blood here. People aren’t used to seeing the Gators win these games so respect takes a while. Finally we’ve got some. Let’s keep it rolling. “Wes Chandler was Percy Harvin before Percy Harvin was born.”
That certainly seems to matter, but it should also be noted that we have more losses then any of them. Before this amazing stretch the team was something like 10-5.

Exactly. If our program was historically successful, I’d be wary of using a single good season as enough evidence to deem a potential coach acceptable (think Larry Coker). However, it’s not like any of last few careful hires have set the world on fire. This is potentially setting up to be one of our better seasons of all time.
agree, but right now I am thinking in terms of buffer, the further we are in the field the more space we have for a hiccup or two. Being a projected 10 seed doesn’t allow much margin for error.
10 seed would theoretically mean we are between 37-40 in the country. Even at 8 it means we are 29-32. I think we are way under seeded in this. And I have to think if we keep winning we will move significantly up. At this point I’m not worried about the bubble, we are in. The bubble talk is reserved for the men’s team …
I would tend to agree, but for some bizarre reason our net ranking is only 49. If the committee places a decent amount of stock in that, our seeding is probably about right. Personally I think we are a borderline 6 or 7, but I won’t be in the room. 2022 Florida Women's Basketball Schedule Scores & Stats | WarrenNolan.com
