First Women's game I've watched this season. I now realize what I've been missing and as others have said, remove the "interim" from Kelly Rae Finley's title ASAP.
I have to imagine there is a coordinated reasoning between the coach and SS, as to why the interim label hasn’t been removed yet. Most likely not to disrupt team chemistry.
Interesting. Maybe it's done but she can use the interim tag to help motivate the girls. I like the concept.
Gave credit to her opponent - whom she just defeated - right off the bat. That's the sign of character, integrity, and class right there.....
Well, we are only 5-3 against ranked teams, having only beaten #7, #11,#14, #23,& #25. We lost to #1, #5, and to UGA when they were #13. So better to wait and see before ranking us……after all, we were picked to finish at the bottom of the SEC.
Our play call wasn't anything to write home about either if we're being honest. Giving them the ball back with only a 1 point lead and 30 seconds - yikes!
They had size on us and were getting offensive rebounds. In a 1 point game I would have given my team more options. Glad they ran it down and missed. Didn't leave themselves much time even if they had gotten the rebound.
