Very True. CC has to get back though if we want to do anything at all. Fingers crossed.

Ultimately it comes down to how many slots the SEC will receive. Barring a major collapse, Auburn, Kentucky, Tennessee, LSU and Alabama are in. Arkansas, Mississippi State and Texas A &M will battle Florida for 1-3 additional slots

You left out Alabama. Also, I don't think that LSU is in right now. They have lost 5 out of their last 6 games.

My guess is that Florida goes 19-12 and 9-9 in the SEC pre-tournaments. Does that get them into the NCAA tournament?

I have been kicking this around in my head as well Tampa.

    I keep coming up with:

    SEC:
    8-10
    9-9
    10-8

and 1 win and 1 loss (out) in SEC play

I don't see UF getting to 500 without CC.

Will be TOUGH to get off that bubble.

I am figuring that they beat Ole Miss, Georgia twice and Vandy. That gets them to 8 conference wins. Then between Kentucky twice, Auburn at home, Arkansas at home and Texas A&M on the road, they grab 1 win. Obviously, the latter could be anywhere from no wins to 2 or 3 wins. Whether, CC comes back will be a huge factor.

I think 9-9 in the SEC gets us in this year. Ohio State win was big. f$u win looking better.

Hmm, after FSU beat Duke I would agree but then they recently lost their last 3 against GTech (9-10), VTech (11-10), and Clemson (12-9). They can still turn it around and they get to play Duke again (though it's at Duke) but right now FSU is 7th in the ACC. All that said, I wouldn't be that sad if FSU just tanked the rest of their season even if it would hurt the value of UF's win over them. ;)

Probably would need one win in the SEC Tournament.

Team Rankings has UF projected to finish

    19-12 overall
    9-9 in SEC
63% chance to make NCAA Tourney
    Projected 9 seed

    Remaining schedule projection
    Uga W
    UK L
    A&M 50/50
    Auburn L
    Arkansas W
    Uga W
    Vandy W
    UK L

The way I see it is UGA is 2 must wins which gets uf to 7. Vandy is tough in Nashville, just beat LSU wire to wire game was never really close. I don't see UF beating Auburn or UK, so 9-9 is achievable but they can't mess around with those UGA games.

Arky is rising and may be perceived as ahead of Alabama. A&M is sliding and may be out of consideration for a big, but the time we play them

I dont disagree, I was just posting team Rankings projections.

    A&M 54% chance of winning
    Arkansas 59% chance of winning

I would assume it's the difference in home vs away games.

Personally I think A&M is more winnable than at Vandy.

Yes, but 1 sec tournament win would cement it.

With the way we get behind we can lose any game left pretty easily, that’s what is scary. I do think we are due to beat a good team though, just law of averages, so I think we go 1-2 vs. Kentucky/Auburn.

This team can have a bad shooting night against anyone. Even wins against UGA aren't sure things. On the other hand, we are also capable of suffocating teams so a grinding, low scoring win against UK or AU is possible.

The only certainty this year is that if you are betting: Take the under.

Things are looking up. UGA 2x, Vandy (Quad 2) & TAMU (Quad 1) should do it, but even that'll be tough.

Yeah, they have certainly dropped off the map recently. Noles are good for nothing
