Didn't see this posted, but this article sounds promising. Maybe even coming back as soon as UGA? Florida center Colin Castleton making progress with shoulder injury
That would be great news. Hopefully they are just giving it extra time so as to not “aggravate” it yet again. A 3rd time setback and his season would certainly be done. So if there’s any question, you wait that extra week or two.
There was some hope that CC could return for today's game, but Chris Carry's piece appears to indicate that Wednesday's game against GA might be the one.
that would be fantastic news if true. Hope with the rest he comes back better than ever to close the season out. We'll need him!
CC coming back against UGA could be good, because I think the team will need a adjustment period, because they have had to get used to playing without him. Not saying this team can take anyone lightly, but UGA is not the best team left on the schedule and maybe that allows for some rustiness to wear off.
Yep, I saw that too. Hoping it’s not anything too serious. I know he’s not 100% and admire that he came back to play but worried that he might have to shut it down again. Guess we’ll just have to see how his shoulder holds up.
Agreed. Saw the same. Actually good he played yesterday or the Gators probably would have lost. This will never happen but I think he should sit at UK and preserve the shoulder and get ready for A&M. Why waste a tender shoulder on a game the Gators have very little chance of winning even w/ CC plays.
No idea what he has going on but if it's a labrum those things have a tendency to feel ok at rest and then continue to get worse with activity until rotator gets involved from the instability.
He seemed to be in great spirits during the postgame interview, but that may just be the morphine talking.
