Too add to my post above, Lewis, Nembhard Glover, Okauru and Bassett all got worse in their last year at UF before they moved on.
He was behind 2 other bigs at Michigan. I seriously doubt that he developed his excellent footwork at UF.
You’re wrong. Payne had little or no stats against Indiana today, but he played exceptionally well and was a big contributor to Illinois’s road win today.
Say what? I watched the entire Ill/IU game. Payne had little or no impact. Oh wait, that's right. He did get that one rebound and score zero. Call me wrong if you insist, but Payne has shown absolutely no progression at Illinois whatsoever. I hate to type that because not only was I a fan of his at UF, but I'm an Illini fan. The truth, though, is that his minutes have been decreased, he continues to make mistakes in the form of aggressive fouls, and doesn't score.
Those of us who are reading your message understand it completely. Others do not know how to connect the dots.
Yes. The Code is lack of height kills programs in the SEC and most of college basketball. Something that White has not been able to decipher in 7 years.
30 points each for Okauru and Glover yesterday. Another great game for Nembhard. Too bad that we never sign any decent point guards.
Cockburn all world team yet you saw a player who you did not think would be any good. Freshman of the year. It's ok to be wrong I was in 1976. It happens
Cockburn is getting his lunch eaten by Purdue. Of course, there are fouls every posesion that are ignored and it's probably the roughest game on O or D I've seen in a while. Omar get called however for hitting an arm.
Purdue has the 7’4” monster inside. I haven’t watched any of tonight’s game yet, although I recorded it. My feeling after watching the first Purdue/Illinois game was that Cockburn would not be an impact player in the NBA.
