I could tell the last few times down the court we were a step slow on defense. Imo it is due to the frustration on the offensive side of things.
Thank goodness in previous games we've had individual player heroics to overcome coaching that can't seem to generate any offense. Doesn't look like that's happening today.
What exactly is the game plan today? Must win game at home against a below average team, and it’s almost impossible to tell what the plan was going into the game. The offense is stagnant. The ball sticks in guy’s hands after every pass, letting the defense recover easily. On the other end, Mississippi is penetrating against close outs and kicking it opposite. Easy to see their game plan.
Wasn't Castleton first able to do a little in practice just yesterday? Maybe one full practice together would have been better before throwing him in today. So disjointed out there
