That’s fine. When I disagree with people on these boards, I try to explain why. No emojis or non-substantive posts from me as a general rule, except, perhaps, when I am telling someone that his post was excellent.
AH is playing about where I thought that he should be playing but now he has a really good cast of players around him. What we have at UF is not as good. This is not a surprise.
I disagree. Last year AN played with a top 5 nba draft choice and another teammate went top 15. This year his teammate is projected top 2 pick in the draft. So, two top 5 picks and a top 15? How does that compare to the Teammates he had at Uf? Of his former teammates at UF including those still left at Uf, one of them was a first round nba pick, Mann, who played the same position as AN. No other player AN played with at UF or could have played with will be a first round pick. The talent of top 5 picks are elite. big difference to the talent level between the zags and gators.
Very good point- This falls under the heading of White's offensive issues. To this day Andrew's father is very involved in his career (his father taught Andrew the game), I believe that Andrew and Claude Nembhard fully vetted White on what Andrew was going to be asked to do at Florida-and all sides were in agreement Andrew could run the offense how White wanted it run. Fast forward a couple years, and our best player is leaving the program-because it's the player's fault, not the coaches on how the offense was being run.
Can we throw a bunch of money at Mark Few to come to UF? Surely the zags can’t outbid us. My guess is he is a small school / west coast guy the football version of Chris Peterson.
If we had Mark Few, some of our fanbase would run him off if he performed like that at UF, since he hasn't won a single national championship in 20 years at Gonzaga. The narrative would be that he can get you far but is not a coach who can get over the hump.
