I’ll say and Mizzou is very tricky. We can pull Ole Miss Out and I feel we are 3 wins from a solid chance at a bid and 4 from locking one down.
I have Sling also and use the FireStick to access the app. I was at work during the game, but recorded it. I did not miss the end of the game. Sorry that you did. What platform do you use to access Sling?
Curious. What's the difference between aa accidental finger rake, a palm, closed hand or elbow in the face that make only one a foul.
Wow. By the slimmest of margins Gators keep their season alive. Gators were not going 9-9 in conference if they lost to Missouri. Now the path is there. Have to win the next 2 at home vs Miss and UGA. Then beat Ark at home, at UGA and at Vandy. Otherwise they'll need to pull an upset to offset 1 of these losses.
Great question. They are all fouls anyway you slice it. We recently lost a kid for the year with no foul being called.
That’s what is said but I can tell you referees don’t accept careless and reckless because that gets kids hurt.
It’s always at least a common foul whether you have intent or not. Intent only comes into play when you are discussing flagrants and technicals.
Yeah strange by the refs to have this position. If I accidentally slap a shooters wrist on a layup is it not a foul? Accidental contact is not a real thing. Any strike to the head or neck area is a flagrant 1 automatically. It’s a flagrant 2 if it’s deemed intentional. At minimum what happened to JJ and Lane were flagrant 1 fouls.
It was a wise decision to move the game time up. I've got a good 6" to 8" of snow outside of St Louis and a day of continued snow is expected. Quite unusual.
You guys posted in multiple threads about the game being moved up and I still managed to miss it. Love the resilience and find a way of this team. Awesome clutch free throw shoointg (again).
There's another sports site that I frequent and whenever a game is coming they have a small banner at the top of all their forums informing/announcing of both the game and the Game Thread. I think they put it up the morning of the game. Guess you could also use something like that to inform of related items like scheduling changes, etc. Wonder if @solari would be able to do something like this for us?
We have it in the OGT, I saw it in several other threads during the day, just didn't adjust it on my mental calendar. It's a me problem, GC did a good job of getting the word out
The Missouri player was falling & still had Lane hooked. Lane's motion from the initial view looked like he could've been doing something, but it's clear from the alt view that Lane did nothing. Cuonzo Martin teaches a very physical style of defense and the refs yesterday allowed it. Not as rough as the Detroit Bad Boyz or the Pat Riley coached Knicks teams, but similar. They started calling some of it in the second half.
It's a Mizzou thing. I watched about 10 minutes of the women's game between Mizzou and Ole Miss today and even the Mizzou women were pushing and punching at their opponent. I wish we had never allowed them into the conference.
