Now 5-2 over the last 7 and nicely trending in the right direction after a tough 3 game stretch. Team definitely has toughness and nice to see it getting more consistent as the year progresses. FT shooting is also becoming a strength and the 3's are starting to fall more.

 

Perfect day to serve up a heaping dish of crow for the bashers that don't ever credit CMW, don't like Toun 'cause of his build or a dozen other shortcoming of the team. Sorry we won. Maybe we lose this weekend.

 

Missouri is far from a good team but with all the kids missing, still a really good road win. Obviously a really thin bench but good to see Jones step up in the first half and finally make some shots.

 

And you though last year was weird.

 

We beat them on their court by just as much as Auburn did.

And I bet Auburn got a better whistle.

Dang. Missed the game working all day. Looking at the play-by-play, looks like I missed a good one. FTs looked to be the difference. 22-26. That's big time clutch shooting. Can't say these guys don't play with heart, that's for sure.

 

Appleby had 10 of those FTs (going 10 for 10) and the Gators needed everyone of them. Glad he was the one drawing fouls down the stretch.
