Seems like a jit who’s going to be favoring everywhere he visits as the school that leads in his recruitment. Him being a 2023 kid, i can see him being on that won’t be signing until NSD 2023

 

Yeah that’s what I saw on Twitter. Just thought it was funny that he announced a Top 10 without us in it and turned around and scheduled a visit. There was a bunch of hype about UGA after he was just there but it sounds like that might not happen.

 

Think he lost his spot at UF

 

The bit of highlights I see of him, it is hard to make out how good he is because his competition level in high school is so poor. He looks the part, but is nowhere near as aggressive as Pyburn.

 

He is exactly what you would expect for a walk on now. Not quite getting the interest at the high G5 or P5, but has the size and from good coaching and a championship team. We need 6 more of these on the OL. DL is going to be harder to find the quality walk on competition for practice.

 

Just got home from work. Seems the air has been let out of this thread....

 

No worries EW - Just the normal Tuesday melt-down B4 signing day! We will be fine! I'm far more tuned into NEXT YEAR after CBN's system has had a full year to work!

 

Wonder if the staff will offer Hutchinson should Allen commit to TCU today

Wednesday 9:00am: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ OL Jalen Farmer, Eastside HS (GA): Farmer is a current Florida commit and is expected to sign his LOI to Florida without any complications.

Wednesday 11:30am: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ DL Caden Story, Lanett HS (AL): deciding between Florida, Auburn, and Clemson.

Wednesday 12:00n: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ RB Tre’Vonte Citizen, Lake Charles HS (LA): deciding between Florida, LSU, Miami, and Auburn.

Wednesday 1:30pm: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ DL Shemar Stewart, Monsignor Pace HS (FL): deciding between Georgia, Texas A&M, and Miami. There’s no realistic shot Florida lands Stewart, but his announcement is worth paying attention to for a different reason. Stewart is very close with LB Harold Perkins, a prospect that Florida does have a real shot at. It’s possible that Stewart and Perkins could be a package deal, so where Stewart chooses to go is relevant.

Wednesday 2:15pm: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ LB Harold Perkins, Cy Park HS (TX): for those who don’t follow recruiting aside from on National Signing Day, this is the big one. Perkins is deciding between Florida, LSU, and Texas A&M.

Wednesday 7:00pm: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ S Jacoby Matthews, Ponchatoula HS (LA): deciding between Florida, LSU, and Texas A&M

TBD: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ ATH Arlis Boardingham, Birmingham HS (Van Nuys, CA): deciding between Florida, Oregon, Arizona State, and USC.

 

i hope so. Would prefer to have had them BOTH but we’ll see over the next 24 hours

Patient and Methodical = it will be interesting to see who is "standing by" and who has been passed on for whatever reason. For some we won't know if they don't sign. For instance one note I read was that McCoy was not beefy enough and we didn't re-offer. Which wouldn't surprise in relation to Napier's reliance on details and measurables.

 

I have to admit, I think I like Hutchinson over Allen based on his Hudl, but highlights are highlights

 

yea you look at them big mofos he’s bringing in from ULL, Christian Williams, Farmer (for now), and Conner and it’s clear he wants an OL of some BIG BOYS. McCoy is a converted TE that is like only 280 now

 

No mention of Caleb Douglas signing...

 

There was Twitter post about 2 2023 OL from Ocala. Kinsler and Ramey. The Name Ramey was familiar so I did some digging. Turns out he is the son of guy I worked with 20 plus yrs ago in Ocala.

Both those kids are huge for 16 yrs old. 6'6" 300 plus.

 

Damn that's one helluva memory.
