Drive to the basket and movement on offense to try and get mismatches, instead of just passing the ball around the perimeter and settling for a contested 3.
Gotta find 3 or 4 guys out of the whole world that can shoot well. That's not hard to do for most teams in 2022.
I feel like it...had to briefly go to Awesome recruiting to see if I could pick up some awesome vibes to pass on to our team...while I am sad and disappointed in how things are going..I am a Gator through and through and of course support them no matter who the coach is..
It's no big secret. If we could just shoot decently from outside it would be a different game even taking into consideration the clip at which the 3 ball has fell for them.
That's one thing that really bothers me. Maybe I'm just too old. When I played, if we didn't run the exact offense and defense the coach called for, we got yanked . . . FAST! I'm not seeing that from our coach at all.
We're getting beat from our shooting - not our rebounding - which is pretty even. Need some baskets to go in 2nd half!
Oh I understand about what can possibly be done but I just don't think our players are good enough to do that consistently to generate an offense that is sustainable. Maybe I'm wrong but that's why I said we have no choice more so
