Devastating for a guy who was really starting to come into his own. Hopefully the damage is repairable and no long lasting effects for the young man. Sad news for both him and the team.
Yikes, his injury must be really bad to require surgery and lose the season. I took a stick in the eye when I was a kid. Scratched the cornea pretty seriously, had to wear an eye patch for a couple of weeks. But then I was fine after that. What a horrible break for Jason. Sure hope we get Felder back full time right away, and Colin back soon.
Nope no foul called on the play that injured Jitoboh. It was reviewed and deemed just typical basketball play. The play was intentional as the Tennessee defender had no chance at blocking his shot. He raked his fingers into Jitoboh. Just another lovely Tennessee play which I am sure they high fived each other over once they saw the video.
Wow that sucks for him and for Florida. And I guess this is just another excuse that will keep White in a job.
There's no call for that kind of post. This is not about MW it's about a young Gator that had a bad enough injury to his eye that it sidelines him for the rest of the season.
A note here: I just gave one poster a couple of days off for a post that was totally out of line when the topic is about an injured Gator player and one we have no idea about how long this could affect him. This is not about Mike White
Devastating news. An eye injury requiring surgery has to be pretty serious and hope he has a full recovery. He was getting to top form- doing all the right things and picking up his minutes and stamina.
I feel awful for JJ...he has put in so much effort to get in shape and improve his game. Life just isn't fair sometimes.
