Transfer Portal Thread (Other Schools)

The Transfer Portal is a good idea, it just needs to be tweaked!

 

The transfer portal is just an extension of the instant gratification culture that has gotten worse year after year for a long time now. There are a lot of lessons being missed from not having to wait for things and not having to work hard and put in your time. Now get off my lawn!

 

Ouch. Hopper showed the most potential out of all our LB this year imo. Was the only dude I could count on for a tackle. This sucks but I hope borders and scooby are ready to pick up the slack

 

Hopper to Missouri is puzzling. I figured he was attached to C-Rob. The plot thickens.

This goes back to a theory I had when Hopper first entered the portal.

His cousin played for Bateman at UNC before the cousin transferred to Mizzou. Probably told TH that he wouldn't like playing for Bateman and poisoned the well.

 

Well if so let's hope it was about effort and accountability that he wasn't up for.

 

I would like to see them make the rule that no transferring until they have been on campus for 12 months.

Is this theory of yours based on me telling the board this is one of the reasons he wanted to test the portal?

I think there is a much bigger issue here. TyRon Hopper and TyRone Hopper are now on the same team. What the heck are they going to do with names on their jerseys.

It's all cool with the Hoppers. They are a good family and TyRon needed a change of scenery. The family is very happy.

 

Best of luck to him. Hope he creates some great memories of playing on the same team with his cousin (except when he plays UF, of course. )

Yep, especially right out of high school. We lost that CB from California in less than one year because McElwain made him a roommate with a nut-bar QB... also a freshman.

I respect you as a poster but this just doesn't make sense. By all accounts Napier has already improved the program by leaps and bounds, it's basically brand new. If he wanted to play with his fam he could've done that at UNC at any time. My first thought was that Bateman played a role in the transfer as well.
