I've said it numerous times..the guy has Muschamp luck. It's amazing. Egbunu-ACL, Key-Heart, CC-shoulder, JJ-eye. Then let's not talk about the untimely COVID hits lol..then the random shooting slumps of Jones, Hudson, Stone..I mean one bad break after another. My God the frustration

A great overall effort by the team under the circumstances. The lack of height has finally caught up to MW. Forget about the rebounding futility, the easy posts, the putbacks, and the inability of us to have any post presence whatsoever. The additional effort our smaller players have to make in defending almost man to man, bigger, taller, and stronger opponents wear down our team when it matters in crunch time.

Last year was Johnson. This year it is Johnson, Castleton, and now Jitoboh. And Jones and Fleming missed games. We had to reschedule the Ole Miss game from a time when we were riding high and all were healthy to a time where every game is a coin toss at best. Someone is trying to tell us that this is just not working out for MW. He refused to even get bigger players in the transfer portal. I am sure there were ones available in the last two years.

7 years in and it just isn't working out for Mike White, and the program is a shell of what it was when he took over. I feel sorry for him and I feel sorry for the players, who unlike the game against ole Miss, played their hearts out tonight, but are simply ill-equipped to compete on a high level in the SEC. The only one ultimately responsible for the average to below-average competition that Florida produces every year in basketball is MW.

It's amazing how some coaches in our conference can get freshmen or a freshman to come in and assert themselves right from jump street. 7 years in and MW has not been able to produce one, not one freshman who has or can do that. I thought Reeves was that guy, and like many others that MW has brought to Florida, he has all the potential in the world, but oftentimes he plays like he doesn't really believe he belongs. While other freshmen players in the league play like they were cut out to be stars (many of them ranked lower than he was out of HS). Something is wrong. Something is not adding up.

The woman's team has an interim coach and they are soaring by Lady Gators' standards. Perhaps there is someone on MW's staff who can spark a different attitude in these players who quite frankly, have become comfortable with losing.

Winning is not their comfort zone. Tragically, losing is. Really, they should make jerseys for them without the yellow tags. The administration should take up the championship floor and preserve the wood, and pull down all of the banners. Everything that Donovan and his players have done has been completely erased so we might as well make it official. Maybe MAGA should stand for Make Alligators Gross Again!!!! Because the last 7 years we have been.

White is one of the least respected coaches in America. He managed to take a legendary coach and program and run it to the ground. No ref is going to give him the benefit of any call. They all see what he has done to our program. They are doing us a favor by not giving us any calls. Someone has to step up and say it's time for a change.

Here’s one example of the problem. We saw 2 players from a great high school program (Hamilton Heights) playing tonight in Jitoboh and the big kid on Tennessee. Samson Ruzhnetsev was on that same team and was light years better than everyone else on that team. Most Gator fans likely can’t even remember the kid’s name because White hardly played him. Now, one season later, Ruzhnetsev is playing well for a good European pro team. You can’t win if you can’t develop and keep your quality recruits.

I remember the name and we could've used his shooting. Chalk that up to yet another bad break under White whether he had something to do with it or not. Again, Muschamp luck says that a good player will suck while you are coaching them only to become really good at the next level. Lol..

Mike "Milquetoast" White standing up to the officials in defense of his team?
We both know how ludicrous that that will ever happen!

It's almost like a pattern, right?
Sorry, but for the last 7 years, the only consistent piece of this train wreck has been Mikey Milquetoast; he is the common denominator in all of these woes.

"We’re going to be classy in the way we do things," Barnes said. "Do I want to play with emotion and fire? Absolutely. But we’re not going to get technical fouls. We don’t need it."

Tennessee and classy. Two words that do not go together.

He really has had horrid luck but I'm not counting shooting woes. That's on the terrible offense and lack of movement in my opinion. Too many shooters have come through here and gone cold.

Agree on all that. But the replay was not one of those times. Generally replays get it right and Mike likely assumed such.

So according to this, UF loses the game and then makes fun of the height of an opposing player that got as many rebounds as anybody on our team in the handshake line? SMH

Maybe he would have, but my point is that we got nothing out of him in his one year at UF. We got nothing out of Scottie Lewis in his 2 years at UF. Now, he is playing well in the G League. We got nothing out of Glover. He had 20 points, 5 assists and 4 steals in a win over Mercer last night. Nembhard was forced into being a ball hog on a slow moving offense in his 2nd year at UF. Now he is the leader of an offense that is one of the best in the history of college basketball. Do you see a common thread?

Yeah but he still should have been reminding them that they owed him a call for the no call on the three. Knowing they screwed the Gators on the no call should have weighed on the refs decision to change the hooking call.
