The team just played like arse and lost to a ho-hum team and Mike Milquetoast White is on everybody's poop list. This game has a "Mikey White Special" game written all over it. UF comes out and upsets the Vols and then the next game we lose to 10-8 Oklahoma State by 30pts. Perfect Mike White right there.
Lol - I think that's out in the western part of ND, but I'm no historian. Drove through ND a few years ago and there is very interesting terrain in parts. The Badlands in SD are terrific and an eastern gateway to Rushmore, Devil's Tower, Deadwood, and Yellowstone.
Great effort by the Gators. No comment on the refs. There were some strong performances (Duruji & Appleby scoring 16; Appleby with 7 assists) and there were some bo-bos (Appleby with 5 turnovers, Duruji with 6). We leaned on those guys and got some pts from Fleming (11) and Jones (10). Having Castleton, Jitoboh, & Felder (other than a token minute) out really hurt. The shooting regressed to the mean in the second half and having CC in for easy twos & kickouts could have made a difference. Fleming edged out Appleby for top performer. Appleby wins assists 7/3, but Fleming wins rebounds 4/1 and turnovers 0/5. That was the difference. Sog was 13.
