Did not even think it was our best game, but so impressive how we're suddenly finding ways to win when we've found so many ways to lose this type of game over the past however many years.
Whatever switch Kelly flipped when Briggs left is simply amazing. This is the best we have played in a while in these last two games in particular. She is really making a case to take over for good with these last few wins.
We shot poorly, we weren’t at our best but we were good enough to take down the 11th ranked team in the country and make it five in a row in Conference. We won by 1 point. They missed 4 free throws……we missed 3…..
Coach got a little emotional in the post game interview when talking about her team and being honored to be their coach. Time to remove that interim tag.
I watched that. You could see how proud and emotional she was. This has been a hard year for the girls and staff alike I am sure. I think this win made it likely she is named HC. Could help us in recruiting to get that interim removed, especially with the momentum they have right now.
That's the big question for me. We just don't know. We have recruited well the last 4-5 years with her as an assistant. This last class is a little less impressive but given the interim tag and all that happened it isn't surprising. If she can recruit though, then she could run with the job.
She was our and is our top recruiter now, but with HC duties we have to have a strong recruiting staff around her.
Great win! I certainly don't expect to beat South Carolina, but I think we can be competitive with every team now. I got to watch right up until Sling TV cut me off with about a minute and a half to go. Infuriating service.
Just got back from the game was the best crowd we've had all year and probably the best results kids played their heart out I hope now maybe they'll get a little more respect same goes for the coach and Strickland we're having a conversation right after the game hope it was positive go Gators
