What is your take on the numbers from post 33664 - which is from the data you linked? Do you understand what it says?

Please give an example, any example, in the history of any and all vaccinations, where people had a negative unknown side effect "down the road".

At this point you really should address what I wrote (and what md wrote). You are completely mistaken about what the UK data show and you are mistaken about vaccine effectiveness against severe sickness and deaths.

I provided the numbers showing the direction things were going. If you want to hang your hat on a drug designed for the spike protein of the alpha variant based on the data we are seeing…go for it.

Age adjust numbers for this do not provide meaningful data imo. You might feel differently.

Now if we could add in the diabetic/obesity/comorbidities into glue data…it would be nice.

Why? Are you saying age has no affect on covid seriousness? Aren't you one who has been saying young and healthy don't have to worry about covid? Did you change your mind?

So you think comparing unvaccinated kids to vaccinated older adults is a better comparison?

That is basically what you are doing. The younger population is far less likely to be vaccinated. The numbers show the disease is doing what it has from the beginning. And these drugs designed for the alpha variant are not slowing the spread. At all. In fact natural immunity has been far less effective against omicron compared to delta. That is why 85% of the deaths fully vaccinated when the population was only 68% vaccinated.

But if you want to use that data to justify getting the booster. By all means. I am just offering the data to show we need new drugs that are focusing on what will happen in the future. It sure looks like we are headed to the flu guessing game. Though there is talk that the mRNA guys are trying to tool this so they can quickly get out a drug for a new variant. They are going to have an uphill battle with the messaging as the public health messaging has been an abject disaster. I think the rollout should have been handled differently. But that is my opinion and what has happened has happened. So no need to spend time on what should have happened that I think would have us in a much better position. We have spent the last year pushing a drug that was designed for a variant that is long gone and we are onto the others. Delta nailed the UK as those October numbers were mainly delta.

Time to start treating this thing like the flu.

That’s all wonderful but you didn’t answer the questions I asked.

You said you don’t like age adjusted data. I’m trying to figure out why, and why you think unvaccinated children outcomes should be compared to older vaccinated adults.

Bullshit. And you know it. Despicable spouting misinformation like this. We know you’re afraid of the vaccine. Nobody is going to force you to get it. Just STFU already.

And it is consistent with the studies. Basically, you are wasting your time. The best you can do in engaging these people is to explain your response and move on. Don’t expect answers to questions about the data that is material to their conclusions. You will not get it. You literally got a response to the age adjusted data posted that discussed the lower risk to young people, and then got s post that the virus is less dangerous for young people. That is true. But the risk is 10 times higher for the unvaxxed. And they is not even discussed. It is harsh to call posters liars. But that is what they are. And the worst kind of deceit. Especially for the smart ones. They know better but don’t care. They post information that misleads those who don’t have the mental acuity to distinguish between what they say and what you say. Trying to convince people to avoid measures that are proven to prevent serious risk is evil. And when that evil produces adverse results, those people bear responsibility for the consequences of this who they convince— even if they don’t know who the others. If you believe in the G-d of Abraham (Jewish, Christian or Islamic) and you don’t pay for that evil in this life, you will in the afterlife.

Interesting anti-vax, anti-science, anti-medical community types so rarely post links to verify their claims. and YouTube videos or “look at this chart I made” don’t count.

It's lying to themselves more than others. It's tough for most people to admit being wrong, especially when there is an emotional investment the thing they're wrong about...but it can be hard even for seemingly minor or insignificant things.

It's frustrating af, mind you not because it's about winning the argument but about seeing opposing arguments that you know that deep down are wrong on the evidence and seem to come from some other motivation.

Because it does not paint the picture of what is happening. Older adults and people with comorbidities are the ones dying still. Vaccinated or Unvaccinated. The spread is not being stopped by these drugs. They were designed for the spike protein of a variant long gone. And it shows.

Thankfully we have therapeutics for the vaccinated and unvaccinated that have been able to reduce deaths drastically since the January wave when these drugs were just being rolled out.

    LOL! Feel better?

Booster up if you want. Hopefully we start looking forward rather than backwards. At least we have the therapeutics. The vaccinated are needing them just like the unvaccinated.

I provided the hard numbers from Public Health England and it paints a clear picture. Funny why those numbers stopped being reported….

Sure, older people are dying. So are younger people at lower rates. They just do so, in any age group, at much lower rates when vaccinated compared to unvaccinated, as shown by every piece of data linked here recently, including the Australia and Alberta data and English data that you linked. Again, your argument is of the form that jumping off a cliff or not jumping off a cliff could both result in death, so we shouldn't tell people not to jump off cliffs. You are being intentionally dense, keeping things just at a level of abstractness to avoid having to actually deal with the specific numbers.

I’d feel better if you’d quit your non stop bullshit misinformation spouting. Everyone is abundantly clear on your stance regarding the vaccine. There is no need to repeat yourself over and over and over again.

“Here’s the good news” - we understood you the first 500 times you posted your Joe Rogan fanboi hot takes. You can stop now.

COVID Vaccines Affect Omicron Symptoms Significantly, NYC Doctor Says – NBC New York

As Spencer put it, the power of vaccination is "clear and dramatic" when it comes to these more severe cases.

"Vaccines remain incredibly effective at keeping people out of the hospital for COVID. And my own observation is that unvaccinated patients getting hospitalized are generally sicker overall, more likely to need oxygen," Spencer tweeted.
