Stat line probably won’t show it but he was awesome down the stretch playing with 4 fouls (the 4th was BS btw). Big big win without CC. Jitoboh’s confidence going forward should be sky high due to this game. Go Gators!
He was great after he got the fourth. Getting the first three when he was our only big man is another story. He gets a pass on the fourth.
jitoboh has good hands, and knows how to get it in the basket! Big rebound near the end. The center on Miss St, didn’t have anything down the stretch. Two big free throws also. Who needs CC! LOL
Yep Jitoboh s game has probably been the biggest positive surprise of the season so far to me. Also, Duruji was great tonight, good to see since he's been MIA in a few big games this year.
JJ has a surprisingly soft shooting touch in the lane. But he helped us most tonight by just staying on the floor in the 2nd. The gimme putts for MSU evaporated when he was out there.
It appeared he was trying to do too much in the earlier part of the game and he was picking up cheap fouls which he has not been doing in earlier games. When he calmed down and played within his game he was able to not only finish the game but contribute.

Yep. Who knows how long Colin will be out? So we need Jitoboh to be able to play a full game without getting into foul trouble. He just became MVG by default.
Great thread and was excited for the big man. I thought he was (trying) to foul out the first half!! Some of the calls going against him are somewhat bogus IMO. He is a big man and gets called for fouls that look a little "chirpy" by the refs. Anyway, clearly he is getting in shape and contributing now. A HUGE plus for the Gators and I hope to see much more of the big guy in the rotation.
