Wish her the best and hopefully she finds what she is looking for, but at best we probably only had her one more season, if that.

We now know we have no Lavender and no Kiki next season though. Zippy and Kristina have the option for another year if they want it but there is a chance either or both are done with college ball. We cannot afford any other losses to the roster. If we don't land some talent in the transfer portal we could be in for a rough few years talent wise.

Is it just me, but this rubs me the wrong way.... Am I wrong but it seems as soon as she suffered the season ending injury, a day, two days later she decides to transfer. It is obviously more to the story. I'm surprised this post is not lit up with comments about this subject. Go Gators!!!!

It's disappointing, but I don't know her reason. Maybe she just has family in that area. She's certainly not transferring for the competition; the SEC is better than the Big 10 or 11 in Women's Basketball.

She is closer to her BF now. She is now just over 2 hrs from him. From what I understand she could have played and chose not to. It is telling that we have won 3 in a row since she left. Not saying she wasn't injured in some way, but definitely think there is more to the story

If her top priority is a BF and basketball/school is secondary that is an problem if you ask me. If she is just transferring for him alone. Now I h completely understand if there is family concerns/issues or matters. If she was able to play and contribute in games but chose not to it's not a good sign. Side note what is it with us losing some of our top players to Maryland, maybe it hasn't been a long history of it, but I remember Eleanna Christinaki transferred to Maryland. I never heard anything of her after. As soon as it seems that the WBB is moving forward and emerging, they take many steps back.

Christinaki ended up being a terrible teamate, but she was extremely talented. Heard rumours of her and Delicia not getting along. Which Delicia ended up with Butler at Clemson anyways. **Side note... Amanda is struggling this season.**

The number of players we have lost over the years is frustrating. Mosby, Moss, Briggs, Christinaki, Washington.

We still have some talent, but the way this season plays out on the court and in the portal is going to be important. If Zippy uses her extra year we have Zippy, Alberte, and Jordyn coming back. If not we could be without Kiki, Lav, and Zippy from this year's squad. We really need to find an impact player in the portal, maybe 2. Not sure how easy that is with an interim coach.

I supported Amanda for years but eventually had to accept that she was running off as much talent as she was bringing in. She was old school, as was Cam. I don’t think they realized that todays women are more outspoken and less willing to accept “because I said so” as coaching. In this sense I think Rae is an upgrade. With Julie Plank on staff you also have someone who has dealt with grown women athletes. There is a ton of talent on the team now 5*s, 4*s, and international and they are getting better. If Zippy does come back we will be formidable next year. I was disappointed to see Lav go but if her heart wasn’t in it it was addition by subtraction. I am very optimistic about Florida Women’s basketball and I do think we will make the dance this year. I would take the interim tag off.

I always thought as I watched her play that in her mind, she was always the first option when on offense. She had a good PPG number but it was because she was a ball hog.

If we make it to .500 in conference and make the NCAA I would take it off. Waiting to see what we do when we play the teams in the upper half of the conference. She has her opportunity to prove herself these next few games.

Hadn't seen this article where she explained her rationale for transferring. Clearly the team has moved on nicely without her, but on the surface, this is not the best look for the department.

If she would had done what she was asked to do she would have been fine instead of flying all over the country during the middle of workouts and during the season. Showed very little respect for her teammates and coaches. Wish her the best but her trying to throw our people under the bus rubs me the wrong way

    I call bullshit.
UF has some of the finest sports-related health care in the country. That doesn't mean there aren't mistakes made or some things don't work as planned. But I highly doubt UF didn't give her the best treatment.

Lavender who at this point. She doesn't want to be a part of this program, but the program seems to be just fine without her. Hope things work out for her at Maryland, but whatever happened when she left we need more of... we have lost one game since I think and that was to South Carolina.

I think Ole Miss was our first game after she left.
