UCLA hasn't started yet which is why the Bruins aren't on the list.

I don't know how much was home gym scoring advantage, but Oklahoma spanked Alabama last week.

I'm looking for UF to score their first 198 this week against Alabama. The 197.675 was pretty amazing last week as UF treated it more like a practice meet than a competition. UF 2022 is capable of scoring 198+ every time they take the floor.

I believe Utah posted the highest score of the year the other day in defeating Oklahoma.

Shaky start but the ladies pulled it out with an awesome finish thanks to Nya Reed and Trinity Thomas with their 10s.

Good thing the meet was in Gville. Al would have won @ any other location.

UCLA might not be real competitive this year:

Yes there are a few UCLA gymnasts who are extremely unhappy how the situation has been handled. The head coach hasn't talked to any of the gymnasts re: racially charged incident. Bruin gymnast team member Alexis Jeffreys was using racial slurs "at" other team members. A formal complaint by some of the team members was issued, but they were not at all happy with the tepid response by the higher-ups. Meanwhile Jeffreys entered the transfer portal before facing any consequences or issuing any apology. She is now in Baton Rouge enrolled at LSU and is their problem now. And with the high interest in white females involved in racially-charged confrontations ("racist Bettys") trending on social media and getting heavy airplay, it will be interesting to see how it plays out. Especially since a couple of LSU's star gymnasts are African-American. Will it be a distraction for the team? Meanwhile on the left coast, fallout continues at UCLA as team members are very unhappy of how their head coach has (not) handled the situation. Other Bruin gymnasts are expected to enter the transfer portal and the head coach's job is in jeopardy.

Tonight during the Florida-Arkansas meet, they reported on the Jeffries transfer to LSU. LSU's coach said how it was "a courageous tale of 2nd chances" for the gymnast. "Courageous???" The gymnast fled UCLA without making any comment nor apology to her teammates. And she has yet made a public statement or explanation, No apology, nothing. How is that being "courageous?" Why does she deserve a 2nd chance?
