I have a niece teaching elementary school in suburban Dallas. She sent this:

2 more positive teachers. We have 16 teachers out. 6 classes with no sub. Nurse has already sent home 23 sick kids. All the ones throwing up are swabbing positive for Covid. I’ve never seen anything like this. It is like a war zone.

We still have no principal, AP or superintendent. Our subs we had early in the week all have Covid now and can’t sub.

Don’t bother, this poster is nothing but a fear monger. He’s earned the moniker. He doesn’t care that the risk of myocarditis is more prevalent in boys and young men. All he cares about is spreading misinformation.

Still can't tell me why doctors in multiple states are currently worried about the rise in pediatric COVID hospitalizations. Instead, you resort to name calling.

Joe Rogan recently had a doctor on his show who he told that cases of myocarditis were higher in vaccine recipients than Covid patients. The doctor said he was wrong.

Rogan's own fact checker pulled up stats showing patients were 60X more likely to have it than vaccine recipients.

Can you provide evidence that myocarditis risk is higher with vaccine than actual covid?

Lol it show 1-28 days on the report. They didn’t track past that. Dates line up to a strong chance one or the other caused it. Possible even a combo of both.

Vaccine doesn’t stay in body long… you have no idea what you are talking about with a statement like that. The adverse reaction to anything is not related to the constant exposure to something.

someone who is around a high dose of radiation will experience life long issues or even death with just minutes of exposure.

Boys more at risk from Pfizer jab side-effect than Covid, suggests study

Their analysis of medical data suggests that boys aged 12 to 15, with no underlying medical conditions, are four to six times more likely to be diagnosed with vaccine-related myocarditis than ending up in hospital with Covid over a four-month period.

Interesting. It's only males under 40, and it is still pretty low. The Moderna vaccine has much higher incidence in that group, and kind of makes sense as it is about 2.5 times stronger than the Pfizer vaccine.

I could see an argument for young healthy males of one regular Pfizer dose followed by a second and maybe third child dose.

The risk of myocarditis is much higher for covid in older adults. I'd like to understand why it is so much higher for adults but is flipped for young adult males.

Too funny. I and others have posted it. It's ok. I get it. You are frustrated about being wrong about literally everything. I mean at some point you're bound to be right.

Child Covid hospitalizations are up, especially in 5 states

"We test anybody who’s admitted to the hospital for whatever reason to see whether or not they have Covid, and we’re definitely seeing an increase in cases. However, we’re really not seeing an increase in children who are hospitalized for Covid or in the intensive care unit for Covid," Offit said.

ya very odd. Good thing it’s older adults who need the vax more than younger male adults.

Myocarditis is most likely to occur within a week after a jab. With the vaccine, cases are almost always mild.

With COVID infection, there is an increased risk of MIS-C, which is often dangerous and often requires hospitalization. Studies that show the risk of myocarditis is greater with the vaccine that break it down by vaccine show that Pfizer has the lowest risk. Currently, only Pfizer is approved for kids 5-15. And kids 5-11 are approved for a lower dose, which also reduces myocarditis risk.

Well, that's irony considering that his bad news was legitimately challenged. Apparently you don't want the good news when it's coming from a different source. :)

Perhaps I missed it, but if you caught a recent case of the 'rona I'm glad to hear you've recovered. I had a 104 w the measles during undergrad and it was no joke.

I think she meant the vax gave her 104 fever. Seems like she spoke earlier about having reactions to vax.

Just found out that my 82 year old uncle in NY who has a heart condition and cancer is now in the hospital with covid and on a ventilator. Fully vaxxed though we're not sure if he was boosted. Big problem is he was sick for two weeks before finally going to the hospital.

People have to get sick before therapeutics work. What a truly idiotic idea. Therapeutics need to be developed for those who get sick. But when enough people get sick, they can’t get access to testing, doctors or the limited supplies if therapeutics. Which is why we need to focus on disease prevention and severity mitigation before people get sick. Needless to say, every time you and others post about co-morbidities or the higher risk faced by overweight people, you show just how utterly self centered and heartless you are. As if that mitigated their death or they somehow deserve to die or are responsible for their deaths. Like a selfish, broken record.

AT this point, there is no convincing the unvaccinated. They are the hard core who get their information from the fringes and won’t listen to what anyone else says. It is a waste of time to engage them.
