Yeah amahd black and Gervon Dexter
Yup. The kid plays for himself not the gators. Of course every athlete plays for themselves but most also do for their teammates, classmates and school as well. Even those who end up transferring depending on circumstances.

Glad Gervon Dexter and Ahmad Black called him out.

A bunch of grown babies in the thread.

He didn't taunt anyone, he didn't disrespect anyone....you all take this shit too seriously. Gator fans are some of the most insufferable fans in the world.

    Pot/kettle?

I mean, ultimately, we're talking about a game being played by (essentially) kids. The perceived rules of the game (including unwritten rules) clearly vary by observer, but you are doing the same thing as those you disagree with: insisting that your view of the unwritten rules are superior to those of others.

    Go GATORS!

I'm talking about how serious you're taking all of this...while getting upset that others are taking it seriously. Some people see a team as just that sport; others see the team as being a part of a bigger whole of other GATOR athletes. I'm with Ahmad Black on this one.

    Go GATORS!

Yep, pretty much. All this was an unneeded distraction. When you go at fans (short for fantatics), it never ends well for the athlete/coach (as history as shown us time and time again). So don't put yourself into that situation in the first place. That's what I was most upset about personally. With that apology it is time to move forward and I hope it motivates that kid to have the game of his life tonight.

Sure, Fleming went a little too far publicly cheering for his home team. But, he shouldn't have to apologize for being caught up in the moment.

I hope Gator fans don't harass him. It will be a shame if he's booed tonight. To those who would boo him . . . . . Grow up. The kid made a mistake. Then apologized. Let it go.

I'm expecting him to throw one down early in the game and come out chomping.

Just think, if he played for Alabama and did this post to their fans after the game, he would’ve had death threats and people stalking him. Saban would have weighed in. You haven’t watched the SEC for very long when you call Florida fans insufferable. We are tame compared to Alabama, LSU, Tennessee fans. You don’t put stuff on social media that is taunting the employer/fans. When you make dumb statements like this, it is a reflection of who he is.

Taunting Gator fans that have supported the Gators all their lives.
Reflects on his coach by his statement, CMW doesn’t deserve this.
Taunting Florida athletes on the football team, I wonder what they think?
The athletic department which fully supports him and tries to guide him in his career, education, feeds him and trains him.
He does this as his team has mightily struggled for the last month.
Just after the worst showing of his short career at Florida. Way to get the fans behind him and the team he plays for, since they are trying to come out of a slump and fan interest in the season is waning.

Not very smart! Hopefully both you and PF learn, that words do matter!

I picked him to be them MVG of the LSU game tonight. If PF is reading this, instead of circus moves under the basket with sad results last game, why not pull up short, if nobody is open, and nail a runner. Keyontae Johnson made every team pay with his different ways to score. Three pointers, runners and circus finishes under the basket. Then the opposing team has its hands full guarding a “consistent scorer”. You can be that guy, but you have to make wise decisions quickly with the ball. The NBA has talented people at every position, you try those circus finishes with a crowd, they will cram it down your throat. Auburn and LSU among others in the SEC can throttle those inside finishes also, which usually gives the opposing team a fast break five on four situation which multiples the mistake of forcing the ball inside with little chance of scoring. Go Gators and PF to play smarter.

I was a bit harsh on my earlier post, but I'd like to see that!

It’s bad for the brand. I get he’s a one year mercenary but there’s certain things you do not do. If he wanted to sit in his own apartment and cheer for them then fine. He intentionally made a spectacle of it and was being antagonistic.
I don’t want to tar and feather him but he can get bent for all I care.

Invisible standard? Try celebrating a rival company’s award on Twitter/Facebook and see how quickly you are out on your ass.

This would be like the CEO of Walmart wearing an Amazon T-shirt and praising Amazon for kicking Walmart’s ass in e-commerce. It may be true, but you are a damn fool if you think that won’t have consequences.

I was going to add this to my post about rival companies, but great job, reality!
