Seems like an entry requirement when you read the link.

Learned pretty quickly no need engaging that poster. Zero value add.

I can see how it’s confusing if you just read the tweet instead of the actual order.

You basically have to assume people don’t read, don’t follow through, or think rationally. Official tweets have to take all that into account.

It is, but I was just showing where the "meme" came from. The mayor didn't present it as such.

    Go GATORS!

OK. That at least shows sanity on your part. I was concerned there. ;)
I will say that I think we overthink/dramatize many things as a culture. I just don't think the existence of viral infection is one of them.
The handling/manipulation is certainly up for debate, but I disagree that the matter of existence in general is.

The other thing is you have to expect that adversaries are going to pounce on anything that can be misconstrued. Was just talking with someone in DC, and they mentioned that it seemed like a lot of businesses had closed down and/or are otherwise not enforcing the mask restrictions currently in place.

    Go GATORS!

Oddly though when you read the order it doesn't exempt museums. Though a city website cites museums as exempt.

Seems DC needs to work on it's communication skills.

And that’s fine. Clearly not many agree with me. But to recap my position: virology in particular is fraudulent, therefore the notion of people as disease vectors is false and the division afoot is tragically unnecessary.

I agree with the last part regardless if we agree on the first part.

Understood, but I do contend that fear and division is the entirely logical out-working of contagion.

Ex: I was just confronted with, in so many words, “We cannot move on until everyone is vaccinated.” That is not illogical from the perspective of contagion.

Unlike the mayor, @g8trjax presented the meme without the subsequent mandate (ie context). Hence the "half truth".

In combination, the image and the associated mandate is obviously a reminder to take your proof and masks when you leave the house in case you need to enter one of the specified establishments. His alarmist comment about the reminder:

make little sense in full context. I think it's selective and manipulative, again.

Yeah, that's the nonsense that just makes people dig in deeper and toss reality to the wind. It's like saying if a pitcher throws nothing but strikes you will win the game. I mean, duh...but it aint happenin'. You better have some guys who can hit and a gold glover or two to compensate when the pitcher hangs a breaking ball.

In other words, multiple good strategies...none perfect...are the solution.

Probably over 20, but none were seriously sick that I recalled but some did go to their doctor but no hospital stay.
But it's pretty much the same for those who weren't vaccinated who caught covid, Only one required a stay at hospital but also has underlying issues

Anyone agreeing with Vaccine passports can't possibly be against showing ID to vote. Of course we know that not to be true. Just shows those people how crazy they are.

San Francisco is 85% vaxxed for ages 5+.

    Yet...

Rate per each group shows unvaxxed at a higher rate, but vaxxed not too far off and climbing at almost the same rate. This is also delayed 8 days.

COVID-19 cases and deaths | San Francisco

I do have a question for anyone that recently went for a PCR test at an official testing site. Do they actually document vaccine status or just ask you when you go for the test?

Densely packed population of 874,000 and they've had 11 covid deaths in the last month. (Dec 8-Jan 8). Sparsely populated South Dakota, with roughly the same population had 147 covid deaths from Dec 8 through Jan 8. SD has a 57% fully vaxxed rate.

Noting that the study was done in a lab and didn't involve actual human beings.
