Tucker asked Cruz how many people have been charged with terrorism for January 6th. Maybe someone knows for sure, but my understanding is that while there is a federal definition of domestic terrorism, there is no domestic terrorism statute to use for prosecution. If that's accurate, that was a really absurd question.

 

It is only absurd if you don't know that, and Tucker's audience doesn't, so he is able to keep hammering that point. Amusingly, Alinsky would have loved this, right out of Rules for Radicals.
