Nah, I don't subscribe to that belief. I just thought UGA got away with mugging us inside at times. We finally got a few calls to go our way shortly after I posted that.
Anyway, we made a game of it and had a chance to win. Miserable play to end the first half cost us the game. But UGA had the better team. That was pretty obvious to me. The gap between their inside players and ours was big, and they didn't even have their best inside player available today.
Still, we can possibly finish in the top half of the SEC and make the NCAAT. I couldn't say that in recent years.

She's not nearly as explosive as I remember from last season.

To me our top inside player is one of the twins and she was out today, but so what their big. We dont have much quality size.

Our guards were very loose with the balls and it cost us a lot

Lav is not the same as last year and we really should not have expected her to be.

We were short one Twin and Zippy, from where I sat that could easily made a difference but you have to play a little smarter than what our team did, they made bad decisions on a couple of long passes looking for run out when slowing down the pace might have been better than a floor length pass over the head or out of the reach of the intended receiver, they refs were bad but I did not see bias on either side one guy in particular was poor and he barked he whole game.
The first thing I noticed was that the UGA cntingent was about half what it was last year, our group was mostly the same bunch with a few less which I attributed to the Holidays.
While she is far from polished as a post player Faith continues to improve game to game, her next step IMO is to get more aggressive around the basket, she made some very good plays on offense and defense but with a tad more aggression she would have blocked a few more shots, picked up 3 or 4 more rebounds and gotten several put backs but like I said she has made miles of progress from when she walked on the court a couple of years back

Nice effort against a good SEC team. Turnovers appear to be the challenge at this point in time. Better team for first three quarters of play.
