I will let someone else explain what is wrong with your reasoning. BTW: your fetish on New York is as useless as it is tiresome.

Shows how widespread minor or asymptomatic infections are in general.

Since you made this post 20 min. ago, it would seem you pick and choose haphazardly at best :
"Nothing about any covid stats are accurate, no matter what site you use,it's all about being first to report, not being accurate."

How does this show how widespread asymptomatic spread is?

That video was about those in the hospital with Covid, not because of Covid.
Yet those with Covid are counted toward Covid hospitalizations.

I think the state where the test is done gets”credit” unless it’s someone on vacation perhaps. Not totally sure

I see everyone still ignores the fact the PCR tests have too many false positives and the level they currently use. Epic failure by the CDC not lowering the threshold a year ago.

I wonder if the posters who were so eager to post "child hospitalizations rising" will post that the majority of those hospitalized are "with covid" and not because of covid. Unfortunately we have some on here who can't grasp that concept.

So the biggest issue to me is now Covid hospitalizations need to broken down by "with covid" and "for covid". If we don't have that data then it's as useless as the "covid death" data where suicides while covid+ count as a covid death. I guess it's too much to ask for accurate data.

Because they went in with symptoms of another problem and not COVID symptoms and tested positive for COVID

Everyone from Fauci to the CDC director(who aren't exactly conservative) are saying kids aren't going to the hospital for covid. But since you think something is wrong, i'm going to go ahead and change my mind and go with your gut instinct since you've been so right on all things covid for the last 2 years LOL.

Yes, there are kids who are asymptomatic who end up testing positive for COVID. But can that explain the 59% WOW increase in pediatric hospitalizations?

Good effort, but a big swing and a miss. Healthy kids don't just end up hospitalized from covid. Extremely rare for that to happen. Even more rare for a healthy kid to die from covid, despite the fear mongering from you and others. Oh, and it looks like Myocarditis risk is higher in the vaccine than from getting covid if this preprint is proven true. Oops. But hey, you booster up those kids, never can be too safe LOL. I feel terrible for kids like yours and others who went under unnecessary risk to be guinea pigs.

Talk about swing and a miss. From your own link:

Our findings are relevant to the public, clinicians and policy makers. First, there was an increase in the risk of myocarditis within a week of receiving the first dose of both adenovirus and mRNA vaccines, and a higher increased risk after the second dose of both mRNA vaccines. In contrast, we found no evidence of an increase in the risk of pericarditis or cardiac arrhythmias following vaccination, except in the 1–28 days following a second dose of the mRNA-1273 vaccine. Second, in the same population, there was a greater risk of myocarditis, pericarditis and cardiac arrhythmia following SARS-CoV-2 infection. Third, the increased risk of myocarditis after vaccination was higher in persons aged under 40 years. We estimated extra myocarditis events to be between 1 and 10 per million persons in the month following vaccination, which was substantially lower than the 40 extra events per million persons observed following SARS-CoV-2 infection. [emphasis added]
The risk of myocarditis is greater with COVID infection. Not the first study with this same result.

Another fact is a 59% week over week increase in pediatric hospitalizations. And almost all from kids unvaccinated.

Go look at the chart again. Sorry. Sucks for you, again. You keep talking about 59% week over week increase in pediatric hospitalizations. It could be anything, but we have health systems, the CDC and Fauci saying the increase isn't because of covid for kids. Hey, keep crying wolf, you've been doing it for 2 years almost. I'll post the chart again for everyone to peruse again.

Some folks don't really want the flaws in their reasoning to be pointed out. If they did, they would just once acknowledge the error and thank you for the effort. They sometimes just want the attention, good or bad.
