I’m told that it’s just a matter of timing for an announcement.n

I suppose Jack is one of those players I will have to trust BN's instincts on. 3rd or 4th string with off field issues and only played 2A ball in HS, doesn't sound the most promising.

He didn’t say. I’m fully aware how these transfer / recruiting games go so nothing is ever a 100% guarantee until the ink is dry but again, the source is quite solid. My buddy went as far to say that Miller will be the Gators starting QB in 2022.

Kid threw for 10000 yards in high school and was a 5 star tearing up every camp before his shoulder injury. And the list of programs and coaches that wanted him then was a who's who.
Now he has 2 years at Ohio st, is a 4.0 student, has 4 years of eligibility and has just about every major program after him again. The off field issue was blown up and rightfully reduced. Kid has never had any issues before or since

I would agree with that, but I just saw Tanner Bailey committed to SC and they just got Spencer Rattler.

That’s a bold prediction for a guy that was 3rd string this past year.

I am with you. And, in fact, I think he is the perfect mix of good upside, on the one hand, and plan A still being a solid backup to AR, on the other.

Is Terrence Lewis a possibility for us? As I recall, he committed to Dan at one point but ended up at MD and is now in the Portal.

If memory serves me, this kid has baggage. Probably ends up a Cane.

Lewis committed to several schools. Tweener body in HS. Those thin 210 pound kids take a long time to get in field.

Yeah, not sure how he could be 3rd or 4th string with that weak QB room. Ewers, 5 star #1 overall player in the nation,......Stroud, 4 star, Heisman candidate, # 2 rated QB......5 star Freshman, Kyle McCord, # 6 rated QB, ..
... I hope we get him, while not possessing the strongest arm, he has the chops to make us competitive at the QB position.....

well, he was actually ahead of Ewers on the depth chart (Ewers was 5th). Since more about Ewers to me, though.

I suppose, however, I would think BN is not guaranteeing the starting job to AR, so hopefully someone that could compete. Hopefully he can.

Looks like he'd be about as good a pick-up as possible. No way to tell how the QB competition plays out with an entirely new offense and staff. Adding another quality guy is a must.

APK do you have any idea how bad the shoulder injury was and how long/how well the rehab took?
    Thanks
