I don’t believe that he is playing in the G League at all although he hasn’t played that much in the Warriors games. He has been beaten out by Gary Payton, Jr for the backup PG spot.
Not only that, they were +17 when he was in the game, the highest of anyone on the team, although he didn't do much in the stat sheet.
Chiozza has been a nice backup this season. Seems like the other players really like him. My only gripe with him is that he doesn’t look for his shot that often, but I think it’s because he understands his place on that team. It’s crazy how our guy has been rubbing shoulders with the elite players. Last year it was KD and Kyrie… this year it’s Steph.
Some guys know their place and how to do the little things that don't show up in stat sheets but result in victory. The stars on the team love them because they know that these guys do the dirty work.
