We could use a point guard like Ques Glover

Very happy for Ques. He's averaging 18.8 and 4.6. Only turning it over twice a game in 29 minutes of action per game. Outstanding start to the season.

Isn't it amazing when you are playing HS talent how good you can look?

Well, I am talking about athletes. I would have to play against kindergarten talent to look good.

Ques was/is a good kid with talent. I feel that if he had stayed and added 10 lbs. of muscle things would have been quite different. Unfortunately hoops is a contact sport and every time he got in the game, he was bounced around like a pin ball.

Seems like a good transfer opportunity. I wonder if Coach White ever considered offering him a scholarship.

If I did this correctly, attached are some highlights from Samford’s 1 point win over Kennesaw State last night. Glover willed his team to the win with 22 points on 10-13 shooting and the game-winning jump shot with 11 seconds to go. I know, I know, I know. He’s not a Power conference level player. Sure.

The biggest issue Glover had here was that he and Appleby have similar strengths and weaknesses imo. He would’ve grown into the level of play as an upperclassmen and I was disappointed to see him go, but understood why

LOL at your 'not a Power conference level player" bit.

You just cannot let this go.

Kennesaw State is not exactly a great team.

When will we get how he dominated a church league game?

Sorry. That was a bit too harsh.

This post hasn’t aged well has it? The more games that get played, the more Tampa seems to be proven correct.

In all honesty, I am not sure Quez would have the same level of production if he stayed here. I am not in love with White’s coaching and development at all. It seems his teams are consistently inconsistent.

Even last year, he was a better shooter than Applybee, LOL. I wish he would of stayed, he was a better pure shooter than anybody on our current team. He and App would have been able to share 50/50 minutes and stay fresh. Right now App plays too many minutes to a deterrent of his shooting. Jones if he doesn’t start hitting shots soon, should ride the bench. Chunking threes without a decent percentage, kills a team’s momentum! He was wide open twice in our last game, time to line-up and get all net, we got another turnover of the ball. at what point does CMW start giving him time to contemplate his game?

Ques looked quick with lightning fast handles in those highlights. Nice little elevation on the jump shot, too.

    Two seasons at UF:
    24.6 percent from 3
    62.5 percent free throw line
    32 assists
    60 turnovers

He’s in a good place now and thriving. Good for him.

Meaningless stats. He appears to be one of the better point guards in the country and is better than the point guards on our team. He is one of the better examples of what has been wrong with the Gators the last several years. Here’s some highlights from Samford’s recent game against a very solid Belmont
    team.

FYI. I corrected my immediately prior post so that you can actually see the Samford/Belmont highlights.
