I think it is that plus 3% of the total basketball budget no idea what their budget is but would think it is a big number
2 game suspension? The guy did the dirty deeds at UT, now Aubie. How about a $500,000 fine. No post season including conference championships for 3 years. 15 game suspension for each of the next 3 yrs for loveable Brucie. Max on team is 10 for 3 years. That ought to do it.
Loss of royalties from his upcoming autobiography, “The Bruce Pearl Story, How he parlayed sweat and cheating to wealth and fame.”
2 game suspension is weak. That whole penalty package sends no message. The only ones getting hurt are walk ons who won't be able to claim a scholarship.
No school has been on probation more than Auburn (currently ranked #18) where they live to cheat. Another wrist-slap from the NCAA won’t slow down the biggest cheaters in college sports history.
At least suspend them from post-season play for 3 years. Watch the transfers fly, watch the recruits scatter like cockroaches when you turn on the kitchen light, and watch the other crooked coaches sit up and take notice.
So ncaa finds total of $6500 paid out to 2 player, each that sat out a year plus. Just wondering if Will Wade considers that a "strong ass offer" ?? And yes I was expecting more severe penalty..ncaa usually hammers those that dont affect their bottom line(tv ratings) ... guess ncaa is going soft on their way out of power.
Cue the Tarkanian Cleveland State quote. "The NCAA is so mad at Kentucky they're going to give Cleveland State another year of probation."
