But they are a greater danger to others if they are unvaccinated. And they still put themselves in greater danger, as this British study results showed 5% of COVID deaths occurred with people with no preexisting conditions. Which would fit with some of the results we saw here in the US. Remember the uproar of only 5% of people who had only COVID listed as COD on their death certificate? Those are likely people who had no underlying preexisting condition. Certainly shows greater risk if you have a preexisting condition, but the risk isn't zero even if you are perfectly healthy.

Risk isn't zero if you get vaccinated either. But risk is greatly reduced. Not only for yourself, but for everyone else around you. And again, there are some people with preexisting conditions such as type 1 diabetes or asthma that no amount of healthy living will ever be able to reverse. For these people, their best bet is to get vaccinated themselves, and hope everyone else makes the right choice and get vaccinated too.

When you refer to an FDA approved medication as horse paste you already sound like a CNN stooge.

Sadly some of those draft dodgers went on to hold high office in this country..

Maybe not "horse paste" but it's an FDA approved medication for the treatment of parasites, not as a therapeutic for the treatment or preventative for a certain viral infection and there are misinformed individuals self-prescribing the veterinary form of the medication as treatment or preventive for said infection frequently to their detriment. Although off-topic for this thread when I think about a draft-dodger who went on to a high-office a certain con artist, former reality star and failed real estate developer comes immediately to mind although he is by no means the only one.

Said someone who probably would have no problem with the CEO of Regeneron acquiring a new private jet largely as the result of profits from the sales of the company's monoclonal anti-body based therapeutic.

He says 12 months but “could be sooner”. In other words, he’s pulling that out of his ass.

But if the virus keeps circulating globally, it very well could be an annual shot given seasonally - similar to the flu shot. We already know the shots offer about 6-12 months of good protection so he is speculating based on current reality. Not going out on much of a limb. 12 months from now actually depends more on how the virus evolves and what happens when there’s nobody “new” left to infect.

After 1500 pages im not sure I follow your line here... "If covid doesnt kill you then you gain immunity"... doesnt address that if you are not vaccinated covid likely will kill you 10X more frequently... but, if you do survive... awesome... you have some immunity that hopefully lasts and doesnt require you to survive a second time in the future. But it's crazy to say lets just let covid KILL the weak or unlucky 10X more than it needs to and leave the rest with immunity. Pound salt on that idea.

You are not a greater danger to others by not getting vaccinated. You are a greater danger to others if you go out I public Covid positive. Vaccinated or Unvaccinated.

look as a devout Christian, I certainly am no fan of these networks. But lets be real. Daystar doesn't "reach" 2 billion people lol.
Their reach is likely in the low millions globally. With the number being skewed by the same people. Lifetime and Nickelback are available on my phone, but they don't "reach" me lol.

And a University of Florida study shows 35% of COVID cases are asymptomatic. So how do stop these people from going out? Mandatory weekly testing?

And while both vaccinated and unvaccinated people can be asymptomatic positive, we also know the vaccinated are at much less risk of getting COVID, and if they do get a breakthrough case, rid the virus 48 hour faster than the unvaccinated. Meaning, they will be contagious for a significantly less time. Therefore, the unvaccinated put others at greater risk than the vaccinated.

    From the article:

The phrase "no underlying conditions" is not an objective measure with respect to COVID. We need to be more precise rather than using terms like "no underlying condition" and "healthy" as there are higher levels of nuances that need to be measured.

Break it down into age groups and see if the concept seems so ridiculous that it cannot be applied to some. Further, break it down into known health risks and those without them and see if the concept still seems ridiculous as applicable to some but not others.

I've advocated for everyone over 18 to get vaccinated. BUT, if they've already had covid, then there isn't a need to be vaccinated as evidenced by the data. You know my position and keep trying to paint me like i'm anti vax. I'm anti kids vax for sure, but all adults who haven't had covid should be vaccinated. Back to the previously scheduled scare tactics.

It's not "good protection" 6-12 months out. I posted the data showing the opposite. There is a reason they said get the booster at 6 months. It's not for shits and giggles.

Interesting, but also useless without follow up.

It says their study was unique in that all people tested were asymptomatic or presymptomatic. Ok… so… was there anything correlated to this 2%? Did they eventually have symptoms or were they just “carriers”? If they were just carriers, did they all have something in common to explain it?

Post 31056 “I’ve said all along I’m very pro vaxx for all adults, how dare you call me an anti-Vaxxer”

Post 31057, “The vaccine doesn’t work 6 months, that’s why they want to boost you every 2 months”

    LOL @ this guy.

Good points. I just found it interesting how small a percentage may actually be spreaders. The problem is knowing who that small percentage are.
