Man oh man..whatever we had going on all fell apart in the 4th quarter. Could have won that game by 20 points but lucky to win!

Also unrelated to this game but our old friend Brylee Bartram is back in the transfer portal again. Headed mid major I would presume whether she knows it or not

 

A win is a win but at least twice I thought we were going to blow them out…….

 

A week ago we lost to the team picked to finish last in the A10, so to now get a win over the team picked to win that league is a huge step in the right direction no matter how ugly at times.

Now let's beat FSU Sunday

 

This is the first really good win of the season. Hope they can carry some momentum. We really need to get one against FSU too. That would help make up for the 2 losses we shouldn't have.

 

Yeah, after the T, I started watching her. She complains all game long.

 

We looked really good at times, so-so at other times. When we got running, they couldn't keep up. But a rash of bad passes and missed shots in the 4th made it a tight one. Good win over a good team, though.

 

The improved talent on the bench gives this team so much more quality depth than they have had in previous iterations lately, kids play hard they are fun to watch, would be nice to have a supportive fan base (in person and on line), whoever scheduled a 2 pm game on a Wednesday was not thinking about fan support

Yeah, the scheduling was abysmal, as if intended to guarantee a tiny attendance. If you want a double-header, schedule it as such. Have the women's game at 5 PM tipoff, the men's at 7:30. That would have a decent crowd on hand at least for the 4th quarter. If they like what they see, they'll come back. It's called building a fan base.

And it could be free attendance at 5 PM, paid attendance for anyone arriving at 6 or later.
