This thread should have been started when we were 6-0 in league play. By then, that would have been long enough to know if this team was for real or one that is getting exposed by teams that are taking us a bit more seriously (and watching film on us). Too bad a season isn't 6 games.

This is basically par for the course for a Mike White team so if you liked him before, no reason to stop liking him now. We get lured in and eventually this happens right before conference play. I’m sure we’ll perform above expectations in conference play, get bounced from the SEC tourney and get a middle of the road seed, win the first game and get bounced in the 2nd. If you don’t like that you must not like CMW basketball.

Our RPI fell from 11 a week and a half ago to 100. Our NET is now 57, our ELO is 58. Those metrics wouldn’t even get you in the tournament, though our 2 quality wins would help. So with the strength of the sec this year, its a tall order to get back to where we were. No matter how you look at it, it was a horrifically bad resume loss.
