That was at FSU they were favored by 3. Had a chance to go fir 2 and the win but Bowden chose to tie. Not even in the Top Ten
That’s certainly true but not when you’re ranked against an 0-7 team from a conference we’ve barely heard of. The fact is this is a pattern for Mike White (badly coached teams). Like another poster said, his firing is way overdue.
My first game was at Jax in maybe 76 or 77. Wes Chandler scored and dunked over the goalpost and hurt himself. We lost a close game.
I was there too. STUNNING. So many of us just stood in the stands for quite some time just speechless.
Very few understand BBall. That was a senior-laden team against an uninspired crew. It happens. Jury is still out on this version of Gator BBall.
We lost 52 to nothing to Georgia in 1968. then there was the embarrassing homecoming loss to Auburn when John Reaves threw nine interceptions. An NCAA record unlikely to be broken.
unfortunately there are many football losses worst that this. Basketball has 35 or so games a year. You can lose one or two that no on expects. Football only has 12 regular season games. Losses are much more painful… Ga Southern loss Vandy loss at home 95 loss to Nebraska choke at Doak LSU loss last year LSU loss this year Losing to Louisville in the Sugar Bowl losing to Memphis State at home…
Meta- you win! Uncle, uncle...I give. Yeah, we tried to outdo the shoe toss loss to LSU with a more humiliating act of oneupsmanship this year. Healing is happening. Go Gators
That was the day we learned that Rodney Brewer had a great future in baseball. But it wasn't his fault. Hall pulled Kerwin too early and waited too late to send him back in.
