A loss would be bad enough but if you lose it should be on a crazy buzzer beater, not get blown out of the gym but a horrible team.
I only recently started doing it when people engage in annoying behavior, like "funny" emojis on serious comments. I enjoy discussing topics with people who engage in lively debate and have differing views.
I can sorta process that 69, though I thought the #240 team in the nation would score less. The 54 is not processable.
It's hard to see how a gator can feel great about our teams. We always have the rug pulled out from under us. I'm gonna try to be optimistic in both bball and football. But this loss is mind boggling and potentially very damaging. It feels like punishment for getting so stoked about this team. I better throttle back all my positive feelings about football.
I saw that garbage and I was disgusted. But... I'll reserve judgement for now. Really just looked like one of those nights when nothing goes your way. Gators dominated much better teams already this year so I'm not sure why people are freaking out. Well I know why, but it's premature.
Two game skid. Let's see how this team bounces back with a must-win against North Florida, and a critical game at a neutral site against Maryland.
There are more important things in life than college sports. If there is anything a Gator fan has learned over the past 10 years it's that.
you dont lose at home by 15 by a winless team no matter what goes your way. We looked ill equipped, out manned and over matched tonight. CMW had no answers period. He has already started to abandon the 5 out offense we started the year with to go back to his old ways. This is like losing to Georgia Southern in football, he needs to get kicked out on his arse tonight
Because we were playing with intensity & fire. I began to think the program's lack of a killer instinct was all on the players and/or that CMW had changed. This year we have the players, but the last two games they look unmotivated. The entire game CMW sat placidly, I never saw an attempt to get the players fired up.
With two 6"11" players on the bench. The top rebounder on the starting 5 had 5 rebounds. Something tells me that two 6'll" players in the game at the same time would have gotten more rebounds than our "frontcourt" did. And if anyone says that takes away our shooting percentage, they need to check the box score. We shot 32% from the field and 20% from 3. Having non-shooters in the game would not have made a difference in our shooting percentage, but it would have definitely picked up our rebounding productivity.
There is a difference between a mandate and a desire. If a coach continues to make what coaches who bring in top 10 recruiting classes year in and year make in salaries, has the facilities to develop good talent into great talent and great talent into superstardom, and year in and year out he falls short of the mark, why in the heck are we paying this man so much money? There are proven coaches who are heads and shoulders above MW in recruiting and development that we can pay that money or maybe a million more who will all but guarantee that at least our player personnel is representative of the best in the country. How many layups did we miss tonight against a winless team? It was almost like we threw the game? I really felt that way. You know how much money was lost on that game in Vegas. Millions!!!!! Where did it go? To people who knew something we didn't know? Look at Anthony Grant at Dayton. Yes he struggled at Alabama, but right now, who is a better recruiter, developer of talent and winner, Mike White or Anthony Grant?
When you keep pulling your wedge into the greenside bunker hole after hole, round after round when a skin is on the line, it's time to replace your wedge or take some lessons.
That's hilarious!!!! Criticizing Mike White makes anyone a "leftist dog". It's borderline unpatriotic to say anything negative about him.
