And are held back from doing anything of significance because we keep taking these terrible losses. We get worse seeds and don’t compete for conference titles. You have to admit that it is a serious problem, even if all in on White.
We were all positive posters. We only got negative when the team lays two eggs in less than a week…one of which was to an 0-7 team at home. Y’all know I’m a pumper, but there’s nothing to pump here.
In his 6 years with tournaments, he didn't make the tournament one year, went to the Elite 8 1 year, and won exactly 1 game as a lower seed every other year. If we toss out the outliers, Mike White is a good path to making the tournament as a lower seed and being eliminated in the 2nd round.
I don’t consider the upper deck of a 20,000 seat arena as part of filling it. In the Donovan days, Gator fans showed up at least 8,000 strong.
Is this the best we can get for 3 million a season? I don’t think so. And before any of you start asking who could we get that is better, do you really think that White has set the bar so high that we couldn’t get someone better?
Sure, every few decades I guess, by definition. But no Florida team has ever lost to a SWAC team for a reason.

The two names that I stated last year were always Porter Moser and Craig Smith. Unfortunately, both have now been hired by Power 5 schools.
Mike White sucks the joy that should be Gator basketball right out of the building. Every year. More games than not. I’ve been done for a few years. I’m waiting for everyone else to realize it too.
This was a bad loss, no two ways about it. You can’t say it was a good team, they were 0-7. You can’t say it was a tough environment, it was on the home floor. You can’t say we had players out injured, the team was healthy. There was no corrections made at halftime, it was more of the same but even worse. The janitor could have coached this team to a better result than White had with them. I bet the janitor doesn’t make $3 million a year.
Hey murph, did you get to see the game? Like player said, it's a good thing this game was not on cable. They were awful. Terrible. It was a mockery of Gator basketball. A sham. A travesty. It was a traveshamockery.
