Notice how when we were 6-0 there wasn't a peep out of the negative posters. We're 6-2 and now the sky is falling. lol. We knew this was coming. This game is an outlier. Nothing went our way and they played lights out. Give TXSO credit, but if we play them 100 times this happens 1 time.
Yawn...let's see what's going to happen. All of a sudden White sucks...the team was built poorly. Yadda..yadda..yadda..then people will say you are wrong for bashing the White haters and the other pro White folks will say where have the negative White posters been during rhe good times. All of that will happen until of course we win games then the negative White posters will be gone again. Around and around we go. Hopefully one day..one day...this will all be settled but for now...this is how it is going to be sadly and it sucks
Give credit to Texas Southern. They were prepared, better coached and played with greater emotion and desire. We are out of the top 25 now, and trending downward rapidly.
I'm one of them, but not ready to run him off. There are some serious questions that needs to be asked. Doubt Stricklin is firing him regardless of this year's results.
I was just as excited as anyone finally beating FSU and then the great comeback on OSU but these last two games really are troubling. After this game they don't even look like a NIT team.
I don’t think so. They dominated. It wasn’t a fluke that they out rebounded us and we had no answer for their slashing to the basket. We have serious issues.
Feels like 2017 (?). That pk 80 tournament year. Looked all world, then collapse. Think we ended up a bit north of 500 in the sec that year
If we play them 100 times, this happens probably 5-10 times. But no, I don't think you can argue that "we knew this was coming," and then claim it was a 1% probability. BTW, there will be another burst of watchability for this team in a few weeks/months. Enjoy it, but realize that it won't last.
The White bashers have been cautiously optimistic and even praiseworthy of the effort and the signs that perhaps the program has turned the page. To criticize people who have made accurate assessments as to the state of Florida basketball under MW is why we continue to see these types of performances. Florida fans who are all in for Mike White have embraced mediocrity. You have to realize that when you lose a game like this on your home court, NO ONE IN THE SEC IS GOING TO RESPECT YOU - NO ONE!!! The game is an embarrassment to the school and to the SEC. Can we come back and will we come back? Hard to say! If we lose to North Florida, and then in Brooklyn to Maryland, I think the verdict for Mike White will be all but read.
Mike White has no passion. His teams always play flat. Even these exciting players we brought in from other programs will lose their zip under White. At least we are used to it ..no surprise.
Yeah, because we just lost to a team that is 0-7. What do you expect? And these losses keep happening every year. It’s why we are perennially on the bubble and can’t compete for conference titles. Because we lose to some truly bad basketball teams. Every year.
