Have to diversify the offense (teams know the CC high screen and are playing it) and stop overplaying so much on D (slip screens b/c our guy is overplaying). But have to Love the no quit attitude. Shoot better and we win despite the poor execution. Question now is do we grow from this. Lots of good learning here I hope.

Meh, came out flat, stayed flat mostly. Painful to watch... CC was just off tonight. Still high hopes for this team and hope this isn't a regression to the MW mean. Cue the Come on mans.
Did we play any zone defense tonight at all? Didn’t see the game so I had to rely on watching the score on ESPN.
I do think this early in the season the substitution should not have changed at all. Also, don't you want to see how Reeves and Keenedy react on the road you may need them in sec play on the road.
This happens when you shoot this bad, won't be the last time. Won't let it take away from what I've seen all year. This is a good team that can beat most teams, shoot like this we can lose to most teams. Can't blame coach for shooting this bad. We will lose 8-10
He's actually an absurdly good coach. One of the best at xs and os according to @Efawcett7. Brought Loyola to the final four in 2018.
Better to give it your all to the buzzer than quit, right? I'd rather celebrate a never die attitude than give up with over 5 minutes to play. Here's to them learning from this and not putting their heads down.
As with Todd Grantham ala LSU, their team ran the same play over and over and we didn't make any adjustments.

Agreed, the extreme shortening of the bench against a team that was really grinding on our guys is inexplicable. Were they not available? Kennedy especially would have been helpful to get a few minutes from tonight
Have to disagree. We were only down 2 points. Then had three empty possessions in a row. That's not on the defense!
