We look slow and sluggish, over coached and confused. I dont like how Kelly is coaching this group. We have girls who should be getting out and running as much as possible. But she goes into games slowing things down on the offensive end constantly. We are getting killed by a 6 ft post player who is a transfer from Bethune Cookman. I really wanted to see more this year and just not getting it. Still a bit of time left to try and win this game, but we should not be struggling this much
I feel like we've regressed, even with more talent. I haven't been watching sadly, been busy and frustrated with the whole situation. The defensive focus obviously didn't pay off, but we look more disjointed on offense than we have last few years. That's 2 bad losses on the year... I really hope we invest in the program and pay for a top tier coach.
I got to watch with a few friends tonight and they were saying the same thing I said. Our girls look very over coached and it just is not flowing naturally. A team like Mason I was told we should have went to the twins at Center and kept Jordyn at PF and some center to match up better with the smaller bigs since the refs were not going to help our girls inside. Kiki looks like a shell of what she was last year, there is no passion with the ladies at all. I wish we would have just blown it up and got another coach now. I will continue to watch the girls, but compared to last year this group just does not have that drive to compete.
yeah but in a game like this when the other teams center is a 6 ft transfer from BC who is abusing our big centers with movement then you have to adjust
Agree... that in itself just should not be happening. Looking at stats looked like Lav and Kiki played well.
