My Gator Thoughts Post-Ohio State FWIW

A minor quibble and do not disagree with the main point. Nolan Richardson's and Rick Pitino's teams fouled so much that the refs got used to seeing that much contact and stopped calling fouls on them except if was egregious. This Gator team is very aggressive, but are not fouling much. A small but important difference.

 

Its a huge difference. Holtmann danced around the question in his press conference of the free throw disparity when we played them last week.

 

They did foul us a lot.

 

We have some very elite defenders with lots of experience. I am surprised at how well they have blended together so quickly. Some is due to the player talent and some is due to the coaching. We are not just a hacking team.
