I would love for Duke to win this one (and then take a shower) with tOSU beating Duke next week. That would make the Gators win over tOSU look really good.
Holmgren is the real deal though. Duke might win this one but Gonzaga will improve as he acclimates to the college game
This is high, high level basketball. I find myself wanting to see our defense matchup. I’m not saying we win... but the fact that I’m intrigued- is something I’m excited about.
In truth started watching with 7 minutes left so didn't see the whole game. I always liked him so cheer for him to do well.
I liked him, as well. He has had a good game, but that slow advance on the last possession was frustratingly familiar.
he finished with 11 assists but 6 TOs. And I’m the last few minutes he missed the front end of a 1/1, missed a three and did his typical “take your time in the last few seconds and get nothing” show. Nothing against the kid, but for all of the good he’s as frustrating now as ever.
Really helped White realize what kind of guards he needed imo. Transfer portal with immediate eligibility, get the guys he wants and now we have this year's team. I was very optimistic going into the season. Maybe not this good. Lol. Been a fun opening. Happy for White. Not sure how far this team will go but think they have a shot of being a really good team and making some noise. Now White has a solid 22 class, portal here to stay and have to feel good about the direction of the program.
You're so right. I think we could compete with them. Going to have to make some shots if we're going to win. Would love to play them late in the tournament and find out.
