It’s too early in the year to take KenPom too seriously, but the logjam among the ratings of SEC teams is impressive. The top six SEC teams are within two points of one another, and Auburn is just below. Wouldn’t be surprised if it ends up being one of those years where the SEC champ has four losses. 12 Tennessee SEC 3-1 +21.61 14 Florida SEC 5-0 +21.59 16 Kentucky SEC 4-1 +21.26 21 LSU SEC 5-0 +20.08 22 Arkansas SEC 5-0 +19.98 24 Alabama SEC 4-1 +19.71 28 Auburn SEC 4-1 +19.01 2022 Pomeroy College Basketball Ratings
Sports analysts keep wanting us to believe the Tennessee and LSU basketball programs are at the UF and UK level but I'm not buying it. lol
Probably tie for it and not outright. By my count there are seven teams that have a shot and the one that gets a few bounces their way will take it. The SEC Tournament should be WILD!
Yep, the team that emerges with the title will be the one that steals a road game or two from the other six.
Or... a senior-laden team that plays devastating defense, rebounds well, and sticks the ball in the hole when things get tough, will steamroll the SEC like a certain team in 2014.
SEC tournament in Tampa this year. Gators used to play there every year but with crappy turnout stopped going. We need to pack the house.
I went to the one in Orlando when UK was on probation and DeVoe was our coach. Went to every game. Not well attended, but we got Bull Gator seats for cheap as nobody wanted to go.
