That is the type of game we may lose... shot poorly, missed a ton at the rim and didn’t convert at ft line. But because this team is tougher than nails, we remained in the game- and stole it. This is the physically toughest Gators team I have watched... at least thru 5 games.
In the immortal words of Chris Farley, “That ….was….AWESOME!” Not just the winning, but the intensity and effort. Fun as hell to watch.
Freaking rock fight that turned into a defensive classic, even Rafhtery kept repeating how impressed he was with UFs defense..... They give you nothing
We get the best of two worlds here. We got a tough hard-fought win against a good and gritty team and found several areas we need to work on.
This win will pay a lot of dividends the rest of the year. Teaches the team that if they keep fighting and don't give up, good things can happen and sends a message to other teams that the Gators are going to fight them for 40 minutes straight, so what are they prepared to do? Plus it will be a quad 1 win in the resume, on a neutral court nonetheless.
Tenacious D. OSU turned the ball over 18 times. We are painfully aware that statistic will get you beat!
If there's no mental let down after this game, there will never be one. With the leadership of this squad, I doubt there will be. This team is quickly becoming an all time favorite for me.
I love this team. Had we not missed so may bunnies we would have crushed OSU. But we got way down instead and this team did not fold. Tough as they are athletic. I knew we were way under-rated this year. Loving it!
Mentioned this in the pick 'em - if you went fishing, keep it up! If you didn't, you are hereby absolved from future fishing responsibilities. Appleby created a new mojo.
