Horrible shooting

It seems OSU is pretty good.

 

Just a very ugly first half. Very disappointing play from the Gators. Liddell clearly the best player on the court.
Jones and Castleton gotta figure it out as seniors.
OSU better than us at this point.
Not sure what else to say.

 

I'm worried about Castleton having the energy to battle in the 2nd half. We are going to need his offense.

OSU is corn fed for sure.

 

The only real difference is our shooting has been really bad.

 

OSU is not better than us. Only up 4 at the half. Teams are evenly matched so far. We shall see if OSU can withstand the pressure for another half, or if our guys run out of steam defensively.

 

I've felt Duruji was our +/- leader. Well, I really feel that tonight.

 

Keep playing defense at this high level. We have to come up with a plan for Liddell. Against anyone smaller, he's taking the shot.

We've had some good looks. Having Duruji and Appleby back for the second half will show in the flow of the offense.

 

Its a 4 point game. They have to give Ohio St. Fans their moneys worth. We will turn it up in the 2nd half. Go Gators!

 

The post says “better than us at this point”. At this point based on the 30-26 lead they are better than us.

 

Think you're exaggerating a bit. We are having a terrible night shooting. Some of that is good defense but some is just terrible shooting and shot selection(mckissic). My biggest gripe is free throw shooting and letting Liddell get the ball down low too easily.

 

We are 9-29 from the field, our starters are 4-18 for only 13 points.
Just not gonna get it done. But thankfully there’s another half.

 

It was physical but I thought the Gators held their own. Missed a few shots they should have made and Castleton missed a couple of free throws. Missed Duruji a lot I think.

 

Castleton and Jones will have to combine for 14-16 points this half for us to win.
