I love what we are seeing in the court. I love the defense and the unselfishness. However, I can’t help but wonder (wiry) what happens next year when so many of these guys leave. Do they take the defensive energy with them? The team work? The extra pass? I think we lose five or six of the guys getting serious minutes. We can HOPE that MW is the one instilling the differences in the guys but ….
Would you have wondered the same thing last year? We lost a bunch of guys and now we are better. Just enjoy this year and let next year take care of itself.
A few of these seniors are eligible to return next year. I can't remember which ones, maybe someone who knows can share. I assume that Mike will recruit again from the portal. Meanwhile, enjoy the ride!
Man, just enjoy the season. The guys are competitive and it’s finally fun to watch them again. In the current basketball landscape, it seems like almost anything can happen next season roster wise.

As the man was led off to prison, his wife came to him and yelled are you crazy? The man replied, “A year is a long time. I might die. The ruler might die. Or the horse might learn to talk.”
You can only play one game at the time and one season at the time. If you spend the good times worrying about what may happen you lose out on the good times you are having.
Enjoy the moment I hope CMW and staff figure out the key ingredient that every player on the team seems to possess whether guard, forward, or center and focus on that in recruiting. I’m not saying forget about ratings, but prioritize tenacious, gritty players IMO.
Our recruiting class looks good, and I assume we’ll be hitting the portal to fill out the roster. But as the portal is mostly an “after the season” thing there is really not much to be discussed. White has shown he does pretty well with grad transfers.
What he has done is add 2 top 6-9/6-10 dudes that can score and a top point guard. He is still recruiting a top 50 shooting guard. That's what he is going to do... Don't be a Tard and be late to know what is going on in the Gator BB program.
I am enjoying this ride. This team plays my kind of basketball...starts with nasty defense. But I do want a sustained program. Not a flash in the pan. This year will be fun and we will enjoy it. My hope is that MW sees what is needed...dogs on the defensive end...and keeps bringing them in. B Mac is my favorite player right due to his attitude on the court. We have not seen that in a long long time. That is why I won't see if MW can sustain this type of team. And Max .... Try a little harder not to be rude to someone asking legitimate questions.
