Florida never let up on those guys. I kind of felt sorry for them trying to get a shot off late there.

 

Great dunk, but 3 turnovers and a T in the little bit that I saw of him.

 

Florida: 80
California: 60

Next game: Gators vs Buckeyes!

Even with us playing a lot of reserves we still outscored them in the 2nd half 34-33

Dude is totally out of control. Still a year away from contributing meaningful minutes. Great defender, but can't be trusted with the ball at this juncture. The dunk was nasty though.

 

Dunk was his best play as a Gator, but just so flustered and out of control so often. Might be decent at a mid-major.

 

So how do we match up with tosu?

Like that CMW gave the bench plenty of time to play, make mistakes and learn. And, they kept the lead!

These guys play fierce. My goodness, Appleby had a great game.

 

Got to hand it to Cal. They came out in the 2nd half and played tough and played us even. They could have folded their tent at halftime. I like that we didn't try to sit on the lead or anything, just played our game, albeit with a bunch of backups getting minutes.

 

And rested the others for tOSU.

 

I wouldn't give up on him yet. Corey Brewer was a mistake waiting to happen for the best part of his first two seasons

 

I could see a transfer in his future is it wasn't for the fact we are losing 7 or 8 guys at the end of the year.

 

Brewer was a starter as a sophomore, but yea it’s early to give up. Hope he can figure it out.
