Foul on Emanuely is her 4th. Bad news. She sits and Floor comes in. Farrell with another 3. She’s hot tonight from the corner. Gators 64-53 at 2:56 remaining. Grambling takes a time out.

Emanuely makes 2 free throws. Farrell being tended to by trainers. Something wrong with her right leg, but she walks off. FINAL Gators 70-55. Wasn’t the prettiest game and defense was sometimes sloppy, but it’s a win!

Not as good as we should. A win is a win but we are NOT playing up to our potential so far.

Given the Twin towers were DNP as was Faith, coach had to do some shuffling and folks played out of their normal slots, still it was sloppy the officiating was beyond ridiculous but the kids fought through and got the win, makes it easier for the coaches to get the kids focused on the mistakes without adding an L

Why were Faith and the twins DNP? Flu?

playing without the twins, faith and jordyn has an impact on the quality of play especially when they are the only primary post players....

Still early and developing team chemistry while battling flu, but not yet SEC ready. With expansion to 68 teams in ladies tourney, more teams have an opportunity to make field this year.

The National Anthem was played while BOTH teams were still in the locker room. Not cool.

As far as the game goes. we had no inside game what so ever. I know some of the regular post players were out but damn, our starting center did not get a rebound until 4 minutes left in the game.

Seems strange in a COVID world they would let players with the flu on the bench
