I saw the listing on California's schedule but not ours (radio only) 2021-22 Men's Basketball Schedule - University of California Golden Bears Athletics
Kind of surprising they didn't include Florida Gulf Coast in this tournament. Anyway, I hope the Gators get a good fan base to attend. We've hardly ever played in SW Florida, if ever.
I checked my Direct TV - Guide and it shows both games listed for Monday, Nov. 22nd. Ohio St v Seton Hall at 6PM and UF v Cal at 8:30 PM. on FS1.
I watched OSU and Xavier last night, Xavier pulled out a close one. Despite the loss OSU looked tough, if we play them that will be a stiff challenge.
Ha! I assume you are not bringing the boat? I would go to blind pass if fishing from shore. It is the bridge (small) that connects Sanibel Island to Captiva. I would fish on the south side next to the bridge. Docks near the bridge are loaded with big slot and over slot snook and redfish. Unfortunately our county was hit hardest by the red tide years back and we are still one of the few counties where season is closed. Good amount of Snook, the occasional Redfish, and even smaller Tarpon patrol through there. I usually do pretty well at night on the incoming tide. It usually rips through there pretty good. Usually cast net some white bait or finger mullet at Bunch Beach or go get some live shrimp. Not much of an artificial guy but have used them with success there. Used to be pretty open late at night but more and more people know about it now and it can get a little crowded, even late.
Just check the tides. It’s always fun that 30 min period where you hear all the snook popping. Also fish the inside of the bridge. There will be quite a few fishing from the bridge. Avoid the weekend if possible. There are obviously better places by boat but that would probably be your best bet fishing from shore. Bunche Beach is fun to wade out and catch some small Snapper and trout in the grass flats.
Not fishing, but if ur driving on Sanibel/Captiva Ding Darling is worth a drive thru especially late in afternoon. Haven't been in awhile but used to be a fair amount of wildlife, depending on weather.
